Short answer: Vinted charges US sellers nothing to list or sell. The full selling price goes to your Vinted Wallet. Buyers pay a mandatory Buyer Protection fee, typically 5% + $0.70, added at checkout. Withdrawals go to a US bank account in USD, take up to 5 business days, and have a $0.10 minimum.
Vinted is big in Europe and growing in the US. Its model moves the fee from the seller to the buyer, which changes how you should think about pricing.
Vinted’s fees at a glance
From Vinted’s help centre, checked 13 September 2026:
| Fee | Who pays | Amount |
|---|---|---|
| Listing | — | Free (source) |
| Selling fee | — | None; the seller receives the full selling price |
| Buyer Protection | Buyer | Typically 5% + $0.70 (source) |
| Withdrawal | Seller | No fee stated; USD to a US bank, $0.10 minimum (source) |
Vinted says the Buyer Protection fee depends on the item, the order value and whether it is a single item or a bundle. It appears in the price breakdown on every listing.
What zero seller fees mean for pricing
On a $30 item, you receive $30.00. The buyer sees about $32.20 before shipping ($30 + 5% + $0.70).
That matters, because buyers compare their total. A $30 Vinted listing competes with a roughly $32 total on another app, not with $30. Practitioner guidance:
- Price for the buyer’s total, not your payout. You can often match another platform’s list price and still keep more.
- Bundles help. One shipment and one buyer fee on several items makes the total more attractive to buyers.
- Still count your shipping and sourcing costs. No seller fee does not mean no costs. Subtract any shipping you cover and what you paid for the item.
Selling to UK buyers
Vinted connects some US sellers with UK buyers. Its US / UK sales page says sellers get a pre-generated label, customs is handled for them, earnings arrive in the seller’s local currency, and availability is currently limited to some US states.
What tends to suit Vinted
Practitioner guidance, not Vinted data:
- Everyday womenswear and kidswear at modest prices, where a zero seller fee has the biggest relative effect.
- Bundle-friendly items such as basics, sets and kids’ lots.
- Sellers who value simple economics over the largest possible audience.

Editorial note
Vinted’s fees and cross-border programme are changing as it grows in the US. The buyer fee is a typical rate, not a fixed one. Check the linked sources before pricing a batch.
